Eiffel Excellence Scholarship (France Excellence Eiffel)

You receive a monthly allowance to do a Master's or a PhD at a French institution. The scholarship also includes transport, insurance and support, but not tuition fees.

Amount: EUR 1,200 per month for a Master's and EUR 2,100 per month for a PhD (since January 2026). Tuition fees are not covered.

Only French institutions can submit the application, never the student alone
Master's or PhD level in a priority field (health, ecological transition, digital, engineering, law, economics, etc.)
Duration of 12 months (M2), 24 months (M1) or up to 36 months (engineering and PhD)
There is an age limit, written in the Eiffel rules of the year
If you break the program rules, you may have to pay back the scholarship and the services you received.

How to apply

Contact Campus France in your country or the French embassy to discuss your project
Choose a French institution that agrees to support you
The institution submits your file online on the Campus France website before the deadline
Results are announced in spring
