DAAD EPOS scholarship benefits: what is paid
DAAD EPOS pays EUR 992 per month for a Master's, plus health, accident and liability insurance and a travel allowance. Rent and family support may be added depending on your situation.
What you receive
The official page lists a monthly payment of EUR 992 for graduates. Insurance covers health, accident and personal liability. A travel allowance is paid unless another body funds your travel. Some scholars also get a monthly rent subsidy and a family allowance.
Our file lists this scholarship as partial, because the pages we read do not say that tuition fees are paid.
Who can apply
You need at least two years of professional experience after your first degree. Your degree should normally be no more than six years old. You must not have lived in Germany for more than 15 months when you apply.
Language proof depends on the course. German courses need level B1 at application, and English courses follow each programme's rules.
How it compares
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship in France also pays a monthly amount without covering tuition fees. Compare both before you choose.
