What "Checked" means
A listing carries the line "Checked by Scholarships Verified editorial team" and a date. That date is the day we last opened the official program page and compared every fact on the listing with it: who pays, who can apply, what is covered and the deadline.
We only use the official page of the government, university or foundation that pays the scholarship. Blogs and aggregators help us find that page, but never fill a listing.
How often we check
The list has 30 scholarships today. Several listings are checked again every day, with priority to deadlines in the next 30 days and to the oldest checks. A listing whose round has ended is marked closed.
What we refuse to publish
Loans or money you pay back, programs that charge students to apply or to "reserve" a place, and promises such as "guaranteed". Paid placements are labelled "Sponsored" and never change the facts in a listing.
Report a mistake
If a fact on a listing does not match the official page, write to [email protected] with the page address. The official page is always the reference.
