Students from developing countries. Check the exact list of countries on the official page.

Be at most 21 years old for a Bachelor's (on 31 December 2026)
Get a recommendation letter from the Indonesian embassy in your country
Have an English test: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 53 (except English speaking countries)
Provide a valid passport, a medical check and a 5 minute introduction video
For a PhD, have a letter from a research supervisor at a partner university
Provide a yellow fever vaccination certificate if you come from Africa

Download the offer letter from the KNB website
Ask the Indonesian embassy for the recommendation letter
Create your account and fill in the online application
Pass the administrative and academic selection (online interview and psychological test)
Results are published online, then you sign the scholarship agreement
