You study in Taiwan with a full scholarship. An economy class flight, a monthly allowance and health insurance are covered, and programmes are held at partner universities.

Countries with diplomatic relations with Taiwan or developing countries friendly to Taiwan. Check the exact list of countries on the official page.

Hold the nationality of an eligible country
Not be Taiwanese or of Taiwanese origin living abroad
Provide your latest diploma before 31 July of the year you start
Have a passport valid for at least 24 months
Agree to return to your country after the programme
If you leave the program without approval, you must pay back your flight and the allowances you received. You must return to your home country after you graduate.

How to apply

Choose a programme from the list of the year on the ICDF website
Fill in the application on the ICDF online system
Submit the file to the Taiwan embassy or office in your country if asked
Wait for the results, usually announced in early June
Sign the acceptance letter at the embassy, then leave in August or September
