Who can apply

Countries where the Korean embassy offers places (list by country). Check the exact list of countries on the official page.

  • Hold the nationality of a country that has places for this scholarship
  • Do not hold Korean nationality
  • Choose up to 3 universities from the official list, including at least one type B
  • One field of study per university
  • Changing your field of study after selection is very limited

How to apply

  1. Create an account on the Study in Korea website
  2. Fill in the online application during the open period
  3. Send the documents to the Korean embassy (an apostille is required from the first round in some countries)
  4. Attend the interview at the embassy
  5. Wait for the selections by NIIED and then by the universities
